Vaal River

Has anybody fished the Vaal River lately. I heard only small bass coming out. What is going on is it becasue of all the polution in recent times?

Had a couple of casts off a jetty some three weeks ago for two days and nadda, ka neks, ha zikho...... was about 2k down from the barage..... eish!

Most of the big dams are fishing like this. Well excluding Rust de winter. Think it’s got something to do with the weather and all the rain.
