Looking to visit vaal rawdah near oranjeville on the vaal dam.
Does anyone have any tips on baits, distance etc.

any luck at this spot? leaving for vaal rawdah tomorrow. been there once before and was a rather quiet trip hoping to change that this time round ANY tips, tricks, prayers would be appreciated

do u have a way of taking your line deep? was there last weekend water level is very very low..fish right next to the fence on the left its abit deep there

He have a boat and we want to fish DEEP but only have about 300m of line on most reels. think that will be enough? any tips on dips and baits?

yess so take it atleast 220-250m and bait wise try sweet stuff and caramel perdeby worked wonders tooo...strong stuff caught a lot of muddies so casting distance u can catch them a lot...

I see what you meant by the water was low its at least 100m in from where we last fished!!! but over all nothing big coming out apart grom 2x2kg fish (Barbel and Mirror Carp, and 3 other smallies (common Carp and Yellow)

Weather was Horrible all of Saturday but beautiful for about an hour Saturday night, Sunday the wind got Horrible again so we left by 9am. Spicy worked well for what we got and funny all the fish came out from either far left or far right.
