Vaal Marina tips

Hey sealiners,

Thanks for all the wonderful tips that you guys post on the various dams etc, very helpful.

I am new to Sealine, just wanted to know if any of your guys have ever fished at Vaal Marina. We are planing to go there in 2 weeks time and would like to know what works the best at this spot, like dips, floaties, meilies etc.

Fishing is new to me, so i would appreciate all info.

put lots of feed around a marker and make sure kids dont steal it, vaal marina has heavey boat traffic and not that many good fish but im sure if you feed enough maize and chick chick you will get a few small ones, the barbel tere do like the sand baks looking for crab so make sure you got a whiskers stick out

Thanks for the info but if you say there is a lot of boat traffic than i think that we should maybe reconsider and go rather to Island Shores. Any tips favorites?
