Vaal Fishing

Hi,

 

I'm looking for some places on the Vaal to take a group of kids fishing. It's going to be their first time so want them to atleast pull out something if possible...want to know hows the water levels, if anyone has been this pass weekend, and also for this time of the year what bait should i be using?

van niekerksrus

cilliers plaas

college plaas

Ardenza

wilgedraai

boschkop

steyns

haven't been to these places myself but from the research i did they seem to be good producers of carp.  You can even do a search on this site and you are guaranteed to find plenty of info.
