Vaal Dam Bonanza???

Just a quick question to our members.Whats happening with the Vaal Dam Bonanza this year does anyone have some info as Jim Foche is closed ie is the bonanza still on???

Sorry, no Vaaldam Bonanza this year, because Jim Fouche is close and we need the infra structure of a resort for a big tournament such as the Vaaldam Bonanza.

Give the Bloemhof dam Bonanza next year a go, or try the Roodekopjes 5 Species Bonanza on weekend 25 Sept.

We spoke to Anton at Boschkop to try and get the bonanza to him. Not sure if he managed it?

Hi Sukelmaar maybe you can try aproaching RAU(Old Goverment farm) that venue had a huge waterfront i think bigger than J/F (Under Correction) it had ablutions and all that it had launch ramp etc... just my 2c worth

We only spoke to Anton , because we know him. Who is in charge over the bonanza? I won't have a clue who to talk to.

Well in last months tight lines i read that there will be vaaldam bonanza and that things for it is well on its way but we will have to wait and see i got a number of one of the organisers somewhere must look for it and get some info for us.

I just spoke to a old fishing pal and he says that there is stories going round that some indian fellow is taking over jim fouche but it only rumors no confermation as yet will get that number tonight and get the info for us

BAD NEWS guys no vaaldam bonaza this year just spoke to one of the organisers of the competition and he says due to the fact that jim fouche is closed they will not hold a vaaldam bonaza this year as they have to aquire a venue big enough to accomadate an event like the bonanza.What he did tell me is that they are trying to organise a one day comp with some nice prizes but they will only discuss that this coming week.So we will have to keep our ears to the ground and if nothing arises lets get together in the masses and take on the bloemhof bonanza next year.I hear it is going to be BIGGER and better than ever before due to the fact that it is the 10th aniversary of the comp.
