Urgent help - Chelsmford Dam(Newcastle)

Hi All,

I am new on this site and busy reading, can someone help me with baits of carp, i wanna try and land in a huge fellow..

At Chelmsford we usually use a standard mieliebom with two small hooks. Bait we use is a small red/orange floatie with dough (wit degie) wrapped around. Even brown bread dough works, few weeks ago even caught a barbel on this. What flavours?  Wish I knew, one always catch fish at Chelmsford so it is hard to tell which flavour is working. More likely something sweet.
