It should be good. As the water is pulling back from the flood plains all the bait fish is washed into the system making the tigers active. But alot of rain has come down so I'm not to sure if it will be the case

I heard, from my local fishing shop, some of first guys into the Barotse this season had bad luck. A cold front pushed through and the fish went off the bite.

In another post http://www.sealine.co.za/view_topic.php?id=56064&forum_id=34 the guys in late March had some luck, mostly smaller ones.

The flows in river have stated dropping up north so the water should start coming off the flood plains bring the bait fish.

I was just wondering what the fishing was like.. it's always lekker to sit in the office and hear the stories of whats happening at the moment.

i am only going in September, taking my father and his friends up to Island view for their first time on the Zambezi, so hope the fishing is good this year..

thx for the replies..

Thanks for the Link Ed, I'm heading up that way in a weeks time and it looks like i might be using my blow-up matrass as a Lilo. All worth it though if the tigers are in a frenzy!:ssswim:
