Grunter & in total all in the 1 to 1.5 class

Thanks for the update!  it hasn't been the best conditions for the okes...  And as you said, the wind is going to go pear shaped this afternoon!

I wonder where the big kob are this year!

I am not sure about the boat but it is supplied by A&G Marine from Port Alfred. It is the third boat sponsord this year! They have all been 15ft size boats and supplied on a trailor unfitted. Very generous sponsors indeed.

As far as the Cod go who knows but I am sure a Dagga Boy will come out. Most probally on live bait. The tied is not quite right for up river so I am sure the lower prt of the river is quite congested with 337 entrants so far.

I reckon the big kob will only arrive in a few weeks time.  Last year was spot on but the year before they were also late!

Fishing should pick up from tonight, with a rising barometer, but Sunday it starts falling again.

But it's always a case of right bait, right place and right time.

Goodluck

It's an interesting topic...  I prefer a falling baro for the rivers, but find it goes dead when it drops too far.
