I think its only fair for all potential purchasers of secondhand VHF DSC radios to know that these radios will have to be sent back to the manufacture to be reset.

The MMSI number issued is unique for the ship station which is registered under the boats and owners name.

Once this is programmed into your radio, it cannot be changed manually.

This radio's MMSI number has not been entered. There is a message on the screen that says "MMSI number not entered" I will post a photo

I bought the boat as CAT E with the radio. I have no use for it as I am only using it for inland waters and my boat is now CAT R
