UJ island shores

Hi guys

im heading to island shores this weekend..... can anyone help me as to what baits to use ? which side should i fish ? can i fish for barbel ? what are the best times to fish ? and is there electricity points ?

your help will be much appreciated

Salaam, the best spot there would be to the right of where the entrance road makes a T-junction with the road running all along the shore. Your favourite dips would be the obvious choice, because to me this system is the same all over. So what works at Draaifontein will work for me at Cilliers will work for me at UJ. So go with your confidence dips. There are no electricity points there, but the rest of the facilities are good. What time to fish? As soon as you get there:)
