Ok now to make it even more interesting............... If you are on the land that borders the water, right, but you're below the highwater mark (the level when the dam is at its fullest), right, he, the owner has the same dillema, as the land that is his property stops where this mark is. So in half-full dams you can stand between the water and this mark and you cannot be chased away, having said that, you must not have crossed the owners land to have gotten there.....LOL, I love pics like these.
Just an interesting note, you can only be banned from fishing on land, if you are on water that borders public and private property (like basslover's pic) and you are on the water, you cannot be chased away by the land owner. The water does not belong to him
, so if you got there by boat/kayak/trekker-tube/swam etc. and gotten onto this piece of dirt you can fish to your hearts content.100% correct for saltwater, but I don't know about fresh water....Loams wrote:Ok now to make it even more interesting............... Even further than this..... If you are on a boat/kayak/trekker-tube, and for some reason you cannot go further, you are allowed to take your craft out of the water, and keeping as close to the water as possible walk on his land and then enter the water again as soon as possible, without it being called trespassing.
