I own one and love it. Can't imagine you won't enjoy yours. Nothing one can really fault on the reel other than price. Congrats!
Spinnekop aka Bruce is all but obsessed with the reel and all he has to say about the reel is positive.
The reel from what I have experienced, only casted on a field with one a serviced quite a few.
It's awesome in engineering and the tolerances are tight and fine.
The spring loaded dog pawl in Pimped Trini's and Toriums was inspired by the DC
Carbon Drags are standard.
Oversized one way bearing.
Just an awesome piece of engineering and Made in Japan to highest spec and not in Malaysia under license.

I have a 16 and a 30, and I love them. I realized early that I will never be a champion caster, so this reel is like it was made for me personally. You will hear stories of it impeding your distance, but I will rather sacrifice 10m than spend half my fishing time untangling birds nests. Apart from the casting, a very well made reel in all other areas. You will not be sorry.
