travel rods

do u know of any travel rods that one can get?

i know the first question is what are u going to use it for?

well i dont have a specific answer for that?
i do a fair bit of traveling to various places
often rural and remote places within the country.
both inland and costal and would love to have a rod that i can travel with
some thing that i can put into a suitcase if possible?

so if there is some thing of a general all rounder that u guys can suggest?
that would be fantastic.

only know of the telescopic rods

theres a shimano exage.. think its 6'6 and about the length of two rulers when compressed.. one or two others that i've seen at a tackle shop but thats about as small as what will fit in your suit case
