I am due to spend a week or so in Europe in July & again later in the year. I am going over for business & will therefore have a bit of free time on my hands in the evenings. Considering that the sun only sets at about 10pm, this should give me a couple of hours to do some fishing after work. It's a great opportunity to fish for something other than carp & barbel.
I am looking for a compact rod & real that I can take with me, the only one that I have been able to find locally is by Shakespeare. See the attached photo, do any of you have experience with these outfits or shouldn't I waste my money. I also don't want to spend a fortune on something I'll inevitably only use once or twice.
