Transom problem

I have Witblitz Cat 430 but it seems that wood in the transom is rotting.
The boat got 2 x 25HP engines and it seems that there is rotting on both
side where the engine bolts go through the transom. The fiberglass is now
giving away as it seems that there is very little wood in that area.

Does any one know if this could be fixed or the transom be replaced?

It is a old boat and the rest of the hull is still in a very good condition. We still use
it every weekend, mostly for bass fishing and comps.

Thanks

On most boats it is possible to replace the transom. Not sure what it entails on a Witblits but if you contact a boat manufacturer in your area they should be able to assist you.

i own a witblitz. when i redid my deck i had a good look at the transom setup. If its rotting you should replace the whole transom with new wood. It can be done. i would suggest a good boat builder do it for you.
