I have been fortunate enough to win a Raymarine Dragonfly Sonar/GPS. I would love to install it on my Little Aluminium boat that I use for fishing in Murchison Falls. The problem that I have is that the transducer on this thing is huge and with the amount of time that I spend bashing my boat on rocks and pushing it up on sand bars, I know that if I fit it to the Transom it will most definitely end up broken.
the question that I have is, can I just silicone the transducer to the inside of the Hull on my ally boat or will that not work? Any other suggestions please!
