Trailer logbook.

Hi Guys, hope someone can shed some light on this question. I don't know if it is true or what, but I heard that when you sell a boat you need to have a log book for the trailer. Is this true and if so what must be in the logbook? I will appreciate your feedback.

Dunno Mieliepit. I bought a boat last year. To register the trailer on my name I only had to get a roadworthy test done. The same as when buying a second hand car.

By "Log Book" in this instance, they are refering to the trailer Registration Certificate. So for the new owner to register the trailer in his name he will need the Registration Certificate (Log Book), Change of Ownership documents and a CoR.
