Torium 20 or Torium 30

Howzit guys

I've got a 13.6 poseidon gold class 3-4oz rod, now I want to pair it with either a Torium 20 or Torium 30 or even a daiwa sl30 but I dont know if the Torium 30 would be to big for the rod? and the other thing that worries me is the line capacity on the 20, is it enough?..

I am fishing mostly off the rocks at mission rocks and Cape Vidal, and sometimes off the beach..

If you guys have any suggestions please..

I'd go tor20 on that rod. Put 40pd braid underneath 300m and .45 topshot. Ull get 500m+

personally, casting 3-4oz I'd go with the sl30. Otherwise 20/40 but in my opinion the tor20 is a bit bulky for that setup

Agree with Boep here, take the 20 with braid.

Tor20 on 13.6ft rod will be nicely balanced throwing 4ounce

I have both the tor20 and sl30 and i had the tor 30. the tor 30 was just to big and bulky for the combo i used which was also a 13.6 assasin S45.

so both reels will work perfectly with that rod. both reels line capacity is ok if u targeting eds so u should not run into trouble..

Thanks guys, Boepens I think I'll do as you say with the braid, will get me a few more meters on.. any suggestions of a brand of braid?
