What a wonderful father!

You may be forgiven for thinking that any man would look proud after catching a large barracuda as he poses with the fish and his 14 year-old daughter at the marina afterwards.

Then you may wonder why his daughter looks less than thrilled.

14 year old Coral Wira was sitting in a boat while her father fished. Suddenly she saw a silver flash in the air. The barracuda had thrown the hook and grabbed her arm.

Father managed to kill the fish with a knife in the head.

But Coral, needed 51 stitches.

And he felt the need to pose for photos before taking her to hospital!

I won't worry too much about her. Won't surprise me one bit if she gets hooked up with a young future upcoming sealiner either.

Ouch.

Maybe some kind of warning that the photos might upset sensitive viewers would be appropriate?? My son (5) was sitting with me and did not appreciate the photos! :fbash

Should have popped the cudas eye out and burst it over the wound, couta have anti coagulants in there mouth saliva and the eye fluid coagulates blood and stops the bleeding.

The wound looks eina though, shame poor girl

No words for the father but it has been discussed many times.

What amazes me is how someone is trying to make this pictures their own did you see that stamp "dofiga.net" on the left bottom of the pics ?

its like the prvious isseu of the skiboat magazine. on the last page theres a story about a guy that got gaffed in the but by a marlin. i think that these two people are two in millions that can say that a fish left the bait and whent for them.

HIya SAfish,

Sorry bud...never thought about that.

Guess the sad truth is that we have all become so desensitised by what we read, hear and see these days.

Yeah Trophy, it is sad but true. We are getting used to seeing all these things on tv and hear it on the news. If a cop gets killed in SA it might be mentioned on page 4 in the news paper. If a cop gets killed in America it is headline news for a week and there would be a massive man-hunt. Sad!

LOL! But what a tosser of a father. Poor kid looks like she's in shock in the first photo.

Mind you, it reminds me of my cousin who got his hand stuck in a machine at their factory a couple of months ago.

The crazy bugger took photos in the trauma room and posted them on facebook!
