Its time for a new boat. I currently have a 19 foot forward Tom Cat. I am looking at the 17 foot walk around but have not been able to test one. Can anybody give me their thoughts on it.

Haven't been on one but know that it is a shortened 19'.
I reckon that hull with 2 x Yamaha F70's would be sweet.

My neighbour had the 19 then the 17.

The 17 gives the same good ride but lighter to tow and handle requiring less HP.

Personally, I think you should just stay with the 19'
