Good evening All.

Have a peek at this Trinidad 40 i got from Andre in Johannesburg to service/repair and get back to working condition.

Upon inspection and opening the reel was in worse condition than he explained or imagined.

Have a look at the pics while stripping. Look how the handle was corroded stuck. i needed to use a puller to remove it. then check how the anti reverse roller came out of the housing and the AR sleeve was seized and rusted onto the main shaft. The top driveshaft bearing was also rusted into the housing and the spool bearings were past their best. Look at the work in progress and the after job to see the quality of workmanship i render to clients.

Enjoy the post.

puller required to get the handle off, this is a primary sign for red lights to go on

look how the roller and main shaft looks rusted, the sleeve was seized on the main shaft also. Lots of finesse work never seen
