I own many Johnny morris reels from the signature series to the elite. And for the two years i have owned them I have had NO issues with them. I clean them and service them on a regular bassis. But i do know if they do give problems rod and marine will sort it out. I have seen this myself with other reels he sells that comes from the states. So don’t think there will be any problems and believe me i will continue buying more. IF you want and you in JHB you can make a couple of cast with my reels and you can decide for your self

Just an update. Decided to go with the Johnny Morris and went on the R&M website to order one. Unforunately no luck using the website but spoke to the owner last week and he was going to phone me back shortly... Then decided to go with the Abu option and it seems as though Riaan got the last one in CT...

Any other options?? Maybe I should just wait until I come up to Jhb again at the end of the month.

I have a D as weel and have not been dissipointed with it ever. The E is exactly like the D just much better. I love both the reels.

Thanks. I will have another look during the week. I just cannot believe how hard it is to try and spend some money...
