Hi S/L,

 I went with my brother on a day trip to the stand and had a good day of fishing. The wind was pumping but hey and most of the day it was overcast.

I caught 20 odd fish for the day and my brother caught about 15. Most of my fish (carps) on a Banana Pip with FX on the Bol I also caught a couple of muddies on Paint/Kiana and BMT/TAC.

I also had a lot of misfortune... I broke both my graphite rod tips just before the second last guide. They just slipped off while casting and crashed into the sand a couple of meters into the dam....

Distances fished was between 90 120rs (OK so we waded a little bit..)

Nice fishing... Not nice broken rods... Do you think the got damaged somewhere during transport or something?

Lyk of die punte maar los gesit het oorspronklik. Is dit die rede vir die kleeflint op die onderste las?

The damaged rods are my own stupidity. I normally use insoltaion tape, but ran out the previous trip and never bought again........ Daar is nie pille vir stupidity nie...

Ek hoop dat hulle dit kan regmaak(al moet ek nou maar 11ft stokkehe), ek will hulle dan ook vra as hulle dit beter kan maak sit by die joint.

Het enige iemand n idee wat dit kan kos?

Mooi gedoen met al daai visse, lank laas wat ek so dag beleef het.
Daai klein man lyk te snazzy in sy keppie, jy maak hom goed groot sien ek!

Ah! Nou verstaan ek beter... lol! Daai join is veronderstel om baie styf te sit. Geen kleeflint nodig nie. Klink soos n fout.

JPS: Daai stokke is Black Widow Stokke wat ek laat invoer het van UK. Ek gaan maar kyk wat die manne se oor die repairs, hopelik sal dit nie te duur wees nie.

Jammer oor die stokke, dis sleg as jy attached raak aan iets en dit breek.

Baie geluk met die goeie sessie, lyk my vandat jy aan daardie kompetisies deelneem het jou hengel ook baie verbeter PI.

Went on another trip to my stand over the long weekend.

Friday: Tried new combos for the moring session and ended up with TFC/DCX (perdeby/FX). I will try and build my morning session around this dip as I;m struggling my ass of in the morning. Ended the day with 10 odd fish

Saturday: Tried something different and didnt use any floaties, worms, or SWD. Only ended with 4 fish, bigger but only 4.

Sunday: This was another heavy morning session and struggled as the wind was PUMPING!!! Fished from 8am - 12H30. Ended up with 9 fish.

Best Combos for the weekend:
TFC/DCX/Escape (perdeby/FX/Peach)
HLX
MZ/Beast/Vaalking (Maize/Bunspice/Looti)

I have no idea what we ended on over the weekend as we socialed (dop and chop and dop and dop and dop)
