Good morning All, here are some reels i did for Dr Gawie Bruwer from Durbanville Medi Clinic. One VS70 Sseized up on tuna but this is not the reels fault it was never serviced since new 3 yezrs back, so his entire aresenal is coming for some JJ TLC. These are a few tigagras, Penn and Altecunos i am busy with currently. Expect more detail on those really soon. The penn was repaired and i machined the handle shaft to clean up scoring and the bush in the right side plate was polished also. Its good as new again, i love these reels. They are more complicated than the tiagras to work on but offer twin drags like the Avets which is great for big fish and huge drag pressures. Have a look at before and after TLC. There are 4 kinds of very high spec greases i use, there is not a 1 grease fits the bill for all, the applications and requirements all differ to much from conventional reels to large tuna and marlin reels. there are loads of pictures on my facebook page Jonathans Reel Repairs and Upgrades

Assembly process each screw gets treated fir corrosion as does the reels internally as well. Reels i do differently to the rest of the market, this is what sets me apart, quantity is never my focus rather absolute quality and passion is what i put into your reels and thisnis reflected by the work i send out.
