Tiagra 50W

old salt

Sealiner
Good morning All.

I got these 2 Tiagra 50 W reels in to service. They were indeed in need of just that and more.

Corrosion had started eating at the reels even outside something not often seen on these reels. The handles sounded like wagon wheels turning from a John Wayne movie in the untamed west, for those old enough to know what i am speaking of.

Corrosion was literally eating the outsides away. Have a look at the green corrosion and salt residue build up everywhere. This required a LOT of intense work to remove and resolve else this would eat these reels away beyond a doubt. A simple rinse after fishing will work wonders to help minimize and prevent this type of issue.

Have a look at the before and after photos to get a good idea of the professional and quality workmanship you will experience at Jonathans Reel Repairs and Upgrades.

Enjoy the post

literally revived, in terms of work take your reels to people who are passionate about what they do.

You also get what you pay for in terms of work, NOTE THIS.

SKILLED WORK IS NOT CHEAP AND CHEAP WORK IS NOT SKILLED.

Remember this line, i see enough reels as rework from other places, hence this message.

There are lots more photos on my facebook page Jonathans reel Repairs and Upgrades for those wanting more detail.
