This is a truly magnificent fish, and an incredible capture, very well done to the angler....

I only have one negative comment... How, with such an incredible fish, truly a once in 10 lifetimes capture, can you take such an increibly terrible photo!!!!

I hope that more pics of this fish arrise, because it would be criminal in my opinion to just have this pic of such an historic capture....

I know maye be just had a cellphone ( which the pic is obviously from ) but even with a cell phone, at least a half decent pic could have been taken...

Anyway, incredible fish, and a massive congrats once again!

Wow - that is one incredible catch. Well done to the angler. Incredible how new technology has enabled us to go lighter and smaller. Awesome catch!

Hi guys..

The angler is Arnold Dorfling. The garrick is 30kg. The bucket is to keep the water from splashing up in your clothes while you spinning from the coast. If you don't believe me, try it. It was a 9ft exceler, 20lb braid think rovex or 26lb gaitorbraid (can't remember), 20lb fluoro, 5000 stradic or sustain, but my money is on the stradic and a bucktail. Any questions are welcome.

I know all this because I'm his son;).
And he didn't tell me to post this. He will never post anything about the catch cause he knows what happend that special day and will never forget it.

Tight lines people!!!!
