So Gentlemen, on the advent of 4 days of no work what are we presented with?

As per usual the SE seems like it is going to again strip the leaves from the trees  and decals from our boats. I also have not heard good reports of fish coming out, even in the deep things seem to be a bit slow!
Has anybody heard of any Geelbeck coming out, I know that there were good reports on the helderberg report from 10 days ago? Any action in the bay? I think I might just have to deal with the wind as I am getting a bit edgy after not fishing last weekend..

So if anyone has any brainwaves drop a post!

Me too, flying down to CTN tonight and will be staying in GB for the weekend. SE looks like it is going to be hakking the whole weekend, so the bay will be very bumpy.......every time I go down with thoughts of putting the boat in the water, the SE kicks my butt. Beginning to think it's a curse or something......

400kg of kob came out last night around the island on one line fish boat!! Im sure you might find the odd Geelbek among them.

Loads of elf and kob and even a nice size geelbek came out off the KB wall (!!!)on Sunday when I was shorebound due to wind. Noticed plenty big groups of terns just parking off on the water surface in FH bay so far this week-- must be a reason.

I'd be inclined to head into the bay if desperate for some action on Fri/Sat

I'll be out of town and hoping for the winds to drop . . . .again. . .

Nah, there are fish in the deep. Just not lots of yellows per boat but there were a few decent fish caught yesterday (Tuesday 18).
I am going to the deep on Sunday and Monday and any other day that is good next week.
The following weekend is the start of league so Vixen must get snot klapped into shape between now and then.

The Yellows as I painfully found out today are far, but within reach if you don't mind the run. Think 49's and 7-12's those areas.

Shot HT, bit far for me on the current rig but will be joining you in about 5 weeks when the new rig arrives...let's hold thumbs that it has not got any nasty suprises!
