this is what i have been up to over the last few months while I should have been studying .These lures only require a few coats of clear then they are ready to fish. U may notice thhe lack of bling on these and that is due to me being fed up with kitchen foil! I have however sourced a roll of aluminium tape and bennie and andre sent me a bit of holo tape so i'm looking forward to adding a bit of shine in my upcoming lures
I'm very busy making lures at the moment for our trip next January to Pomene in Moz. So I've decided to buy some silicon to start molding and I'm in progress with my first pattern to make a mold out of . I couldnt get Mould max 60 so i'm a bit bummed and will have to try some yellow gipsum or cretestone to make a few spoons , maby someone can point me in the right direction?
Here is my flying fish stickbait. It is 19cm long and I haven't weighed it yet . It has a nice wide side to side , diving action and is good on a medium retrieve .
Here is the natural shad , it has a frantic action that is very unlike anything I've ever seen. It only pop's at reasonably high speeds and its overall action isn't skew. It is 12cm long.
This is one of my favorite patterns I've ever done a little redhead with a few purple spripes. It is best slow retrieved and has a wide diving action. It is 10 cm long.
This lure was originally going to be a plug but then i messed up with the knife and made it in to a flat sided stickbait . It has a nice tight action and can be fished fast . Since it was going to be a plug i figured that I could experiment with it and gave it a nice high contrast paint job.
