The plot thickens !

We decide to head to plot 69 as the water was very flat and a deep sloot was needed. Johan fitted inflatable wheels to his h-frame thinking that it would be easier to walk with, boy was he sadly mistaken ! Those tyres sunk deep into the loose sand and made the load even more difficult !   I just had to take a pic of the “camel” in action... We finally got to our spot and made my first gooi, ‘n kraaines ! forgot to tighten the spool !!! Reel in, cast again, not more than 80m and I see my rod bobbing, typical of stump, this continues for a couple of minutes before I decide to reel in, to my surprise there was a small cobbie whom I snatched off from his mother’s breast, the fish was barely 30cm !! I quickly released him, and told him to go call mommy ! Each one of us had half-hearted enquires after that but nothing VAS. Sunset came and Hajj Fuad made an appearance, and with that the Cob !! Fuad’s first cast, Cobbies of 50cm, 2[suP]nd[/suP] cast – 30 odd cm, 3[suP]rd[/suP] Cast – 55cm, 4[suP]th[/suP] cast another baby !! Sho die man is aan die brand ! I decide to make one more cast next to Fuad and lo and behold I get a descent pull ! bring bring bring and OFF right in the shore break !! Damn ! I was already in trouble by the Familia and I wouldn’t dare take another cast ! Looks like we’re in for a good season ! After the next SE it will be REG !

We definitely in for an early season ! With all these SE's !! One would say it's early September already ! Oom Walter told me of some nice Steenies coming out close to the parking :whisp:whisp Most of the fish were caught on Bloodworm but the baby I caught took on Sardine fillet...

There's been quite a bit of fish coming out but the guys don't want to post on Sealine, too many whinners !

Yes, DJP, that walk with livies is a killer, I  normally pour half the water out and refill it when I get to my destination, it helps a bit...

Awesome stuff! Still battling to pin point the exact location. Looks like Mnandi heading towards Misty Cliffs or far right of Macassar toward Strand.
