The other forum

Probably not the right venue for this question but does anyone know what's happened .? I know there was a bit of a spat between some members but now the forum is closed ?

Here we are alive and well.

We have our issues too.
Loads of threads and posts are gone.
Some hacker has entered in and deleted loads of info here.
I'm wondering if it has taken place on the flip side of the coin.

Yes...the internet has turned many into keyboard warriors. Hiding behind electrical screens.
However you can't lie and get away with it on the internet. There are too many roofkykers. Case in point: at the time of this post we have 33 members logged in and 119 Roofkoppe, who don't want their heads to be seen on the site.

So tell me...why are they here? Do you join a site to offer 'no comment' ?

Who are these 119 guests...that don't want to be introduced. Are they shy...or have they done something wrong ....

Saw a new years message that implied a "mutiny" this year..which some members took exception to, then there were some bannings and screenshots posted and it went pear-shaped and imploded worse than an ANC hastag.

Pity, there was also a decent crowd of chaps over there posting..
Funny also, wasn't that forum formed in the first place with a "mutiny" from this place?! History repeating itself and all..Our knot section still hasn't recovered from UA being formed I think haha!

I still prefer the anarchy of sealine though..BTW is everyones smiley changed to an offshore avatar?

Nah… it was just a tongue-in-cheek reference to the guys who left to form the Offshore forum, but we’re still all mates… most of us at least. Life’s too short to get into spats. Our government gives us more k@k than we could deal with in a lifetime. I’m on all the forums and I really miss it when one goes down, for whatever reason. The “other forum” should be up and running shortly.

Agree 100percent. There's lots of interesting and informative posts and nice guys on all the forums. Much ado about nothing in my opinion.
