What i remember off hand is, she was weighed on the bridge by the bloke who built my trailer(Heavy duty)and weighed in at 1800 Kgs on the trailer with motors(360 Kgs) and accessories.

What's the story with Gooi Los?

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know if a 60 Yamaha (3 cylinder) would have sufficient power to push a 15.6 ft cc ace along? I tested the boat yesterday and it didn't even get close to going on the plane, even trimming it up or down made no difference........:swear. Motor revs freely when not "under load" - when in gear it battles to rev to 2000 rpm

Feedback would be greatly appreciated - thanks !

Thanks Thika, pretty sure there is no water in hull as I just restored the boat. Probably the motor is just not performing like it should (stood for a long time) - thought the prop looked to big but it seems it is a 13" so should be ok
Will post some pics tomorrow....

Helloc, I have the same hull with 2 70HP evinrudes on, tried various times to get her on the plane with only one motor but was unsuccessful. Must however mention that I'm running 17 pitch props

Thanks RianC - that is a bit concerning if that is the case, as I am then buggered.....
Would be a pity as I think this will be an ideal boat for Kosi and those type of places
