Im glad to see there is a Gecat fan page. I bought my Gecat a few month ago, Im still getting the just of it. I have heard often that people don't like the Gecats because they build them heavy. Does anyone know what makes these boats heavy?

Here are a few photos of my boat, her name is Reel Time a 21.6ft with 2x70hp Yamaha engines.

I will take a few more photos of the deck layout, the previous owner fished for tuner so she has a massive fish box. It would be great if a few more Gecat owners could show off there boat.

you should have a close look at the GeCat. When I was looking for this size boat I heard many good things. The only negative thing I heard was that they are heavy. Hopefully that means they are built strong.

To be honest I am not the best person to give advice, this is my first big hull. I enjoy it and I am a novice skipper and the Gecat is very forgiving so everyone that has been on my boat says I skipper the boat well but its the hull that I must give credit to.

The previous owner used to take her far off shore that's why she has 2x130L tanks.

I've had the honour of spending many hours on a Gecat 21 over the past year since it was built, including being a crew member for the 2014 Tuna Classic.

Fitted with twin Suzuki 90 4-stroke motors.

We've been through some rough stuff and I can tell you the hull is solid.
