I came accross this article while searching for this fresh water sting ray a mate told me about, it made for some very interesting reading. I had no idea that some fresh water fish got this big!!!

Someone should get that guy to Africa to try and find some of our giant Barbel/Vundu.
I have heard runours of Barbel at Harties dam wall being the size of a minibus.
