heres a story that still makes me feel ill.
a year before the bonanza we made plans to go to the bonanza and for that entire year i was so excited!! so eventually the day comes when we are signing in the register. day breaks and its the start of 4 days of fishing pleasure.
day one and there was a tuna of 28kg. caught by some lucky bugger but we did alright just checking out the scene we caught the most that day 26 tuna.
day 2 was not so good weather upside down.
day3 and we just got to our planned spot and started drift baiting when my mates reel strats screaming!! 2 to 3 seconds later and my other mate right in the front of the boat reel starts running. so we think double up great!! 40 min later the lines come together so we untangle them and then i see the number plate.wow!!! its huge i gaff this beast and to our astonishment both hooks are in the mouth. well we thought the rule would be who evers reel went first its there fish. the only igfa rule it stated in our rule book was you cannot pass your rod to someone else. so we radio it through and started the celebrations our tuna weighed 39kg!!
sowe get back to find we have been disqulified due the 2 hooks in the mouth. so thats how we lost the boat a cobra cat 525 with 2x 85 mercury`s and trailer. well im sure u will be able to understand the breakfast the next morning went down hard. but we will be back this year. our hounesty will prevaile!!!!!!!!!!!!!::H
