targeting duckbill rays

hi guys

ive searched this forum but cant find any info on targeting duckbills and i was wondering if anyone can help with this . wat bait to use hook size hook type J or circle and if you use steel will it make a difference ohhh and weather conditions . i will be targeting these duckbills in eastern cape port elizabeth so any help wil be helpfull

Occie (octopus) is key as bait. You can use chokka as well but the big boys prefer occie. Slide a whole occie or throw a nice big leg at new brighton pier, bluewater bay or something good and you will be vas with a ducky if they are around.

Fish for them after 2 or so days of heavy east.
Mainly summer fish, but i think they are still around we got a small one off about 20kg this weekend at bluewaterbay.

so today was a good day to target them lol was gona go to bluewater bay but came out of night shift so was pap when i got home but il try wednesday anyway straight after work got some occie an tjokka ... do you use steel? raggies wont say no to a bait like this

Ons het die naweek 2 gekry op tjokka aas met 5/0 circle hooks en n dingle

If the Duckbills are in the vicinity, don't bother how target them, they will target you.
