I still think maybe that you are over complicating things?
The only way to know is to tie them and test them against each other, and cast them and fish them...and retie them a few times on the rocks and break off a few stuck traces, then you will know what works for you..

The last one shows that if you really want the best knot, don't play games and learn the PR. My mate who is a professional guide and has his national colours, makes a tool with a little egg sinker and an inch or so long piece of stainless wire to tie the PR, and he has a quick method that takes as long or less even than my FG.
Either way you go, remember that you need a good working alternative/technique also, that you can do on the rocks in a flash when the fish are biting and you have to retie your leader setup for some reason. Lekker thread, thanks for all your feedback and keep it coming..
