Tackle Box - Maintain and storage

Anyone got any good info on how to store all tackle and baits, jigs etc as I am having a few rust issues.

I was watching esa bass and the guy reckoned you should use garlic????

For the past 8 year I have been keeping "that silicone sachet bag you get in shoes" in my tackle box and never once got any rust on hooks.

.....so when ever I find one I stick it in my bag!

Prior to that my hooks did not last esp when I lived along the coast

I also know that uncooked rice helps for moist in your tackle boxes.

Add a teaspoon of normal cake flour ( koekmeel ) to the hooks, swivels, traces etc and they will last a lifetime. Have some hooks in my tackle box which are older than 20 years.
Replace the flour when it turns yellow.

What about silicon skirts and jigs, spinnerbaits etc?

Can also add some baby powder to the box. My father keeps baby powder in his takle box with the hooks. Lives opposite the beach in swakopmunt so they are never more than 50m from the sea and no rust.

Spray on some WD40 and it also acts as a fish attractant.
