How often should one replace them with a fresh one?
Are there perhaps a spreadsheet or so giving the strength per size for swivels?
Do their power rating decrease much with useage/age?
I give so much attention top my lines and replace them often, but I neglect swivels completely.
Those small ones of #10 size seems so fragile. What does it help you fish with 80LB braid, but your baby #10 swivels might break.
Lastly, is it very wrong to fish with larger #4 swivels? Will they really bother the fish? They are so dark under water that I cannot think the fishes could see them. What are the reason that everybody recommends small #8 or #10?
