TWO bodies with gunshot wounds were found in Nelson Mandela Bay in separate incidents in Swartkops yesterday.
An unidentified man was gunned down at about 10.30am at the Swartkops River.
“The victim had gone fishing. He was approached by two men and shot dead,†a police spokesman said.
The suspects fled with his vehicle which was later found in bushes in NU5, Motherwell, he said.
Two men have been arrested.
On further investigation police found an unlicensed firearm, believed to have been stolen, in the possession of the men.
The body of a second man was found with gunshot wounds at the beach at Swartkops in the early hours yesterday.
Mbombo said details were sketchy in both cases.
The police were looking for three people in connection with the murder of the second man. – Hendrick Mphande
