Surface water temperature trends

I've been trying to find some sort of pattern for the temperature trends but it does not seem to make a whole lot of sense. It's still interesting though. Perhaps if you link the plots with synoptic charts of the same dates it would start to make sense. I also like the pretty colors...::hippy1:

Will 101, where did you get SST maps from?
I'd also like to keep track of the pretty colours!!

Will 101, thanks. Found the master map using the letters on the edges of the images but struggled to zoom in on the image.
