strand fishing

we want to go fishing tommorow night at the strand any info plz?

try melkbaai nice catches coming out there of late.Early morning,late afternoon and at night will by optimum angling times.Some elf,cob and flat fish coming out there.Try pilchards and or chokka,it should deliver a bite.

got 2 nice elf on the high friday night.saw a cob come out next to me as well but it was absolutely stunning , and i was surprised there were only the 2 elf.had some smaller nibbles and stuff , but usually if the bigger elf are around they go mad , all i got was the 2 , pity , but at least i got mine , there were 3 okes next to me who usued prawn chokka pike etc , and got nada.i suppose it goes like that hey.also got 4 cob of minute size as the sun came up , little okes that went back to grow bigger , i was surprised there daddy didnt show.used pilchard only , maybe if i had fresh chokka and did a combo the bigger cob would have been around.thats at blakes to the right of the pipe

Ons het 'n paar geelbekke op die riwwe langs Blakes gedurende die naweek gekry.

do those geelgek ever come close enough for shore anglers to catch??? i saw about 10 boats out just behind the rocks at blakes on friday evening , im guessing they were after the geelbek??

Jip, they do come in close. There were some good catches of geelbek during last week. During the weekend they were absent though.

Saterdag en Sondag oggend was van die beste sports wat ek in 'n lang tyd gehad het. Vir ongeveer 'n halfuur elke oggend was dit "vas!" met bykans elke gooi. Sodra die ergste donkerte wyk, gee hulle egter pad. Daarna het ons elk net 'n kabeljou gevang.
