stradic anti Reverse not working!

i just took my Stradic 4000 FH apart to grease all parts in their annual service and when putting it toegther again, i found teh anti reverse no longer works!
no spare parts after greasing and the anti reverse owrked before maintenance.

i see no broken parts, no sticking etc and teh engage/not engage button still works and the pin moving up and down with teh engage/dis engage button

what have i done wrong??

I am guessing here as I have never seen your model reel open before. I suspect that you perhaps greased instead of oiled the anti-reverse bearing rollers.They would be little roller-type/needle-type bearings that may on certain reels fit springloaded.

Like I said ,a wild guess but it is a possibility.

On the basis that its the same or similar to to spheros, then i concur with the kitfisher - grease is too sticky and prevents the ar rollers from engaging the spindle.
Take the spool and rotor off agaain and remove the ar casette (2 screws) then strip and clean and lightly oil. sorted.
For paddle ski fishing i pack my reels full of blue marine grease - if over-packed then grease works its way up the spindle, squeezes past the gear and contaminates the ar casette in the same way, resulting in occasional slipping....

That reminds me - have to do the Spheros too and no grease this time!

Gents.l a quick question.. I want to get spare spool for a spheros 5000 and saragosa 6000 SW for different line and was wondering wherein South Afrca get some...looked at a couple of places on line but only on eBay and am not sure of the stuff
