Stradic 5000FJ Shocker

I was planning on getting a spare spool for my Stradic 500FJ since they don't come out with a spare spool like the previous models did......

I was not prepared for what I was quoted.... R850-00 for the bare spool!

That is more than half of what I paid for the reel... Is that ridiculous, or is it just me???

Try ordering one for a Stella. Also try get one for the new Trini A range.

All jokes aside. That is ridiculous. Makes you realize what great value the previous model Sustains and Stradics were. Their prices have gone up a little to the new models and now you only get 1 spool.

Somebody is ripping the ring - somewhere.

I did try and order a spare spool for a Trini 14 some time ago, and that was almost as big a shocker! Don't even want to think what spare spools for the Stella and new Trini would go for then. I just can't find any way from any point of view that can justify these prices...

... To add to this...

I just got a second quote on the spool... This one for R630... I still think this is quite rough as it is almost half the price I paid for the reel quite recently, but it is a R220 price difference between two local retailers? Haibo!
