St Lucia and Vidal

Hi

I am going to Stlucia next week, Can somebody please advise me on what we can target in that area and if StLucia lake is worth the effort to try with dropshot in the lake ( if there is any fish left in the lake).

Hi Jess,
My brother just returned from there and he caught a 15kg kob in the estuary on dropshot. Weather was crappy. I'm going there in 3 weeks so also want to know more

I was there earlier this year.
The most productive spot in the Estuary is the area around where the mouth used to be. This is where you will see most people fishing. Just be aware of crocs and hippos as the sun starts to set. It's an easy walk if you park near the boat club or on the closest beach parking lot approached from the town side. The folks at the fishing stores there are very helpful, ask them when you get there.
