Spinning rod for dropshot and light offshore spinning

Hi there all!

Please help:shark

 i need a spinning/dropshot rod that i can use for dropshotting in Dec at sodwana aswell as for light spinning offshore from a boat any recomendations

i will posibly be using a daiwa regal 4000 5i reel pls coment on that to

ive got student budget constraints aswell, will the reel be up to the task? what rod? in the R500_R600 range

8ft Passion Stick (med heavy) rated 1/4-1.5ounce - about R 500

7ft Elbe rod - up to3/4oz, about R 250

I have both and have used both, both good, don't know the others

the passion stick is it a sensation rod?

im new to this game of dropshotting/spinning is there a cheaper alternative for the onde onda lures? or something simular, i would like to spin from the boat for bonitos for live bait?

Yip, it's the passion stick - very nice rod

There are alternatives, like the SPROS that cost half the price.
