Spinning reel braid..

It's getting to the stage where I need to re spool my spinning reel. Until now I have been using a mono foundation with a Fireline topshot (4lb) and this has done fairly well. I was wondering if there are any suggestions on better braid's to use?

I have used 8lbs and 10lbs Fire line with great success in salt water.

I would not hesitate to put 4 or 6lbs Fire line for fresh water.

i have used power pro braid now for almost 2 years on both my spinning tackle and baitcaster tackle and never had a problem. it is a soft braid compared to fireline.

powerpro or fireline crystal, dont go too thin cause "wind knots" can become a problem, 8 lb thinnest I'd go.

I have to admit, I'm completely do not like Braid, AT ALL, busted rods, have lost fish in trees, it seems to grind the eyelids to shreds, knots, ag no just way too much hassles, the P-Line Halo fluoro i use, suffice to all my needs and requirements.....
