Spinning - One reel two applications

Hi guys

Im looking at a Stradic 6000 with 40lb braid for my ski. Is it possible to use this same reel on a surf spinning rod? or if 40lb is going to be to heavy for a shore based spinning rod then maybe another spool with lighter braid?

Read plenty reviews on these reels although a bit pricey, solid and reliable.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

You are spot on with a Stradic and cant go wrong. Strong and reliable.


I would go lighter braid for shore spinning. But all round a very good choice for the dual purpose
