hey guys moved to george at the start of this year to study at nmmu, i have been doing some spear fishing in the area but diving here is very different to diving kelp forest back home in cape town. i am always keen for a dive i will miss a few lectures if i have to:) i would really appreciate some local knowledge i have only been shooting fish under under 40 cm seen some ridiculous cracker near Sedgefeild but they are so shy and the other big fish like the holes and caves that i can get too. but i know guys pull out large fish there. also i want to dive below dolphins pint next to kaaimans looks really good but i don't want to dive there alone.
PM me if you are keen for a dive and or if you just want to hare some local knowlege

Just remember not to shoot the very big fish :) It upsets the fishermen who rely on them to keep the stock numbers up..When we fish for cracker, we release all our large fish so the cycle continues and the fish remain full up, we keep the intermediate size just above the minimum size limit. Those cracker are quite resident and the old ones are smart so they will be around the next time the conditions are the same, just choose which one you target carefully to ensure that the stock you've found remains healthy.

Dolphins Point pretty dodgy...some large grey suits living close by.
Can connect you with a local youngster who also dives Gerickes.

As mentioned by the Doctor, please leave those large Poensies alone, rather take the kolholle and the belman.
