Spear Fishing Mdumbi (10km north of Coffee Bay)

Hey guys,

A friend and I are planning to head up to the Eastern Cape over the first week of September. We have been advised to stay at Mdumbi Backpackers www.mdumbi.co.za

We are still very new when it comes to spearfishing and have never ventured out of the Cape. Please could anyone give us some advice as whether it is worth heading up, in regards to weather patterns and sea conditions.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
