Spawning

Hi Guys.

When does the whole spawning thing happen. I believe it has something to do with the water temp. when it gets around the 17 deg mark. I see Inanda is getting close to that now. I caught a 2.5kg bass at donkey bay a week ago it it's belly was huge. Could we be entering Pre-Spawn stages? Cause this winter has been Quite warm (KZN Coast).

Usually in South Africa it seems all fish at Low Altitudes spawn after the last full moon in July (this can change due to water temp) AT higher altitudes it can be up to 2 month's later - curtosy of a "mate" doing biological studies on bass breeding cycles..........
So I assume down at the coast they should be almost entering the Spawn
